Grab your Lederhosen and your Dirndl and join us for some Octoberfest craziness! We will roll out the barrel with German beers served by our own authentic Pink House beer maids (!), schnapps, bratwurst, homemade sauerkraut, soft pretzels with beer cheese and mustard and German potato salad. We’re even going to have an Octoberfest COSTUME CONTEST complete with prizes and give-aways! Featuring the First Take OomPah Band of Reno, with the King of the Accordion, the legendary Corky Bennett on Accordion/Vocals in a rare public appearance. First Take Oompah Band is an offshoot of the First Take jazz ensemble founded by Rick “The Saxman” Metz from Reno, NV. Rick has played with bands who have worked with MANY artists over the years, such as Johnny Cash, Tower Of Power, Taj Mahal, Eddie Money, David LaFlamme (It’s A Beautiful Day), Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Bob Marley’s Wailers, David Allen Coe and Bad Co. He’s also one the few woodwind players to utilize the Wind Synthesizer to it’s full extent! Reservations STRONGLY recommended.
