The Pink House, known to locals long before we were here, is located in Genoa, Nevada, the state’s first documented settlement. Set at the Eastern base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe, The Pink House (formerly known as the Reese-Johnson-Virgin House), was built in 1855 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
